About
Manav Paropkari Sanstha

A registered NGO with over three decades of working experience in providing comprehensive professional consultancy services, empowerment of women and child welfare, free medical services to older persons, drug abuse prevention and treatment, and various development projects.

Since its inception, the society has been functioning through establishing linkages or networking with other government organizations and working for the weaker sections of the society. With our wide range of expertise, we offer solutions to our clients by adding value at every stage of the project.

The organization started working with women and children more than two decades ago in various vocational training for different categories of women. We provide a full range of professional services in various sectors, backed by a team of dedicated and highly qualified staff to organize awareness programs and other activities. Our organization is very much interested in taking initiatives for women's empowerment, especially for the underprivileged sections of society. It is a community-based program implemented through NGOs.

Our organization has worked in Skill Development courses, Health, Legal aid, information cum facilitation programmes, economic empowerment, Non-formal education, financial assistance, and welfare schemes of the Govt of Delhi for around 7 years with complete success and full responsibility.

Besides that, the functionaries of Manav Paropkari Sanstha are dedicated social workers, particularly in the field of women's upliftment and prevention of drug addiction. They have worked with various govt. and non-govt. organizations in different capacities, represented India, and visited most South Asian countries through the ministry. They have shouldered various challenging community development projects, with some working in renowned Indian Corporates and multinational Companies with a natural flair for Social Service.

Vision & Mission

Our vision is to create Drug-free areas in Delhi where we have treated over 11,000 drug addicts indoors and provided OPD treatment to more than 50,000 drug addicts, rehabilitating over 5,000 clients in the community. Beneficiaries are treated systematically and sympathetically to improve their physical, psychological, economic, and social well-being.

We organize community-based awareness programmes, street plays, and school lectures regarding Drugs and HIV/AIDS, particularly in drug-prone areas. We provide free medical aid to the old and infirm, normally above the age of 60, educating senior citizens about hygiene and disease prevention via free medical camps.

Our aim is for the upliftment of mankind, providing services to needy persons totally neglected in the community and society.

Aims & Objects

    To provide comprehensive services for the better development of mind and body for all sections of the society irrespective of their caste, colour, creed, sections or social class.

  • 02.

    To provide free medical services by a team of specialists to the poor and needy people by holding camps.

  • 03.

    To provide Day care Training facilities for parents of mentally handicapped.

  • 04.

    To provide Education regarding structural deficiencies and educate people through holding Awareness camps.

  • 05.

    To provide free vaccination through holding camps and to help our national vaccination programme to eradicate Communicable Diseases.

  • 06.

    To provide services to our senior citizens, which will include Health care and Recreational Services to all sections of the society.

  • 07.

    To organize vocational Training & Income Generating units for women for promoting the status of weaker sections of the society.

  • 08.

    To provide hostel facilities for mentally handicapped and Elderly people on short or long term basis.

  • 09.

    To provide sex Education to teenagers by organizing special Lectures in schools and colleges.

  • 10.

    To provide information and education regarding AIDS and STDs through Awareness camps and organizing Lectures by expert teams.

  • 11.

    To provide juvenile guidance programme and to educate school and college students regarding vices of society, through holding Awareness camps for De-Addiction and to provide Guidance, Counseling for the Families of Addicts.

  • 12.

    To organize regular teaching sessions for training of voluntary workers and make a self-help group for achieving the goals for the development.

  • 13.

    To provide help to the medical and paramedical students into above problems of the community.

  • 14.

    To work for social development of people living in slum areas as also for environmental improvement.

  • 15.

    To assist, co-operate and collaborate with local, state, national and international organizations dealing with all kinds and aspects of social work.

  • 16.

    To promote the publications of books, charts, illustrations, journals and other periodicals in different languages for the attainment of above aims and objects.

  • 17.

    We also organize seminars for all departments.

All the income earnings moveable or immoveable properties of the society shall be solely utilized and applied towards the promotion of its aims and objects only as set forth in the memorandum of association and no portion thereof shall be paid or transferred directly or indirectly or by way of Dividends, bonus, profit or in any manner whatsoever to the present or the past members of the society. No member of the society shall have any personal claims on any movable or Immovable properties of the societies or make any profit whatsoever by virtue of his membership.
